Community Grants

Logan City Council offers grants to help strengthen the social, environmental, cultural, and economic development of the city. Logan residents, organisations and businesses could be eligible for up to $20,000 in funding. The following grants are available:

Community Development Funding

Purpose

To provide support for organisations that will deliver initiatives which add to the social and community development of the city. Grants are available to support both long term outcomes and quick responses to immediate community priorities.

Who Not-for-profit organisations, schools and social enterprises.
Funding available Up to $10,000.
When Applications are open all year round.

 

Community Events Funding

Purpose To provide support to community-driven events that celebrate Logan’s vibrancy and community spirit.
Who For organisations running a community event that celebrate the City of Logan.
Funding available Up to $20,000.
When Applications are open all year round, assessment occurs monthly.

 

Community Benefit Fund

Purpose This is a discretionary fund that allows Councillors to meet requests for financial help from eligible organisations
Who Not-for-profit organisations, schools, P&C associations, community sporting clubs, and community organisations.
Funding available Discretionary funding varies.
When Applications close on 30 April each financial year.

 

Sports & Recreation Funding

Purpose To provide assistance in improving health and wellbeing of the City of Logan community.
Who Local sport and recreation organisations, individuals participating in sporting events.

Funding available

Up to $3,000.

When Applications dates vary depending on the requested assistance.
