If you are taking over a business that already has a footpath dining permit, you will need to apply to get that permit in your name.
Fill in an Application for new licence outdoor dining (PDF 242 KB) form, pay the appropriate fee then wait until you have the new permit in your name to start using the tables and chairs on the footpath.
