Purpose

This local law covers administration of council property, regulation of council property and other public places, permits and enforcement.

The purpose of this local law is to:

• provide for the establishment of council property
• provide for the protection of council property
• confer the necessary powers for the management and control of council property
• protect the safety of persons using council property
• regulate activities in and on council property and ensure appropriate standards of conduct
• provide for appropriate public access to council property.
