Previous planning schemes (superseded and historic)
The Logan Planning Scheme 2015 first commenced on 18 May 2015. Some parts of the original planning scheme have since been amended and the scheme currently in place is Version 8.1.
Each time an amendment or new planning scheme commences, it creates a superseded version of the Planning Scheme for a period of one year. Under the provisions of the Planning Act 2016, a person may request that a proposed development be assessed and decided under a superseded planning scheme.
Requests for assessment under a superseded planning scheme must be made to us in writing within one year of the effective date of the new planning scheme or amendment.
Superseded planning schemes
Documents relating to superseded planning schemes can be viewed in the table below. The superseded planning schemes can also be viewed in our free online Logan ePlan.
A planning scheme or amendment that has been superseded for more than one year becomes historic. Development applications may not be made under historic planning schemes. The information in the table below is provided for reference only.
