- The Mayor values the opportunity to meet with community and business members and enjoys attending events; consequently, his calendar is heavily booked and we ask that you provide four to six weeks notice when requesting a meeting with the Mayor or extending an invitation to the Mayor to attend or speak at your event.
- You will be contacted once your event invitation / meeting request has been reviewed.
- Wednesdays are held for Council Meetings, so please be aware of this if your event is on a Wednesday.

Mayor Jon Raven was elected to lead the City of Logan in March 2024, after serving as Councillor for Division 5 for eight years.
Logan is the youngest, most diverse and fastest-growing city in Queensland, home to more than 377,000 people from 234 different cultures.
Mayor Raven is passionate about creating local jobs and encouraging investment to help Logan realise its full potential.
His 50-year vision is to design a city in partnership with its citizens to protect what they love about Logan while transforming the areas that still need work.
This will see a transition of the city’s economy from logistics and construction to focus on renewable energy, technology, recycling and innovation.
He loves being a champion for the Logan and vibrant communities that make it such an amazing place to live.
Above all, he wants to change Logan’s reputation for the better and create a brighter future for its residents.
