Swim, dance, cook, stretch or run with the Active & Healthy program. With a wide range of free and low‑cost activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

How to book activities

We’re making it easier to book and manage your activities as we introduce our new online booking system, Bookable.

  • Many activities can now be booked online through Bookable
  • Some activities are still booked directly with the activity provider by phone or email
  • Some activities may be booked through a provider’s own booking system

Bookings are required for all activities, with details provided in each listing so you know exactly how to register. Visit Bookable for full activity listings and to make a booking.

You can choose to create a Bookable account to easily book, view and manage your activities in one place.

Before you attend

For most activities, please:

  • wear enclosed shoes
  • bring a water bottle
  • wear suitable clothing (and a towel if needed)
  • bring a hat and sunscreen for outdoor activities

Activities do not run on public holidays.
