Parking permits

If parking restrictions have been signposted in front of your property, you may be eligible for a resident parking permit, depending on the location and the reason for the parking restrictions.

A resident parking permit allows eligible residents living in restricted parking areas to park their vehicle in front of their property for longer than the signposted time limit.

Apply for or renew a permit

You can apply for a new resident parking permit or renew an existing permit by:

• completing the Online resident parking permit form
• downloading and completing the Resident parking permit form(PDF, 138KB). 

Supporting documents

When applying for a new permit or renewing an existing permit, you will need to provide:

• a copy of a recent utility bill (if you are not the property owner)
• a copy of the vehicle registration notice or registration receipt for each vehicle requiring a permit.
