Types of Council meetings
Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) Meetings
ARC meetings are not open to the public.
The ARC provides independent oversight and advice on matters such as risk management, internal controls and audit processes. Holding these meetings in closed session allows sensitive financial, risk and compliance issues to be examined in detail, helping to strengthen Council’s governance and accountability. View the Audit and Risk Committee Charter 2026(PDF, 270KB).
In accordance with the Local Government Regulation 2012, the matters reviewed by the ARC and its recommendations are reported to Council by the Chief Executive Officer in a public report.
Meeting reports
Reports (except for ARC meetings) are available in the agenda. Reports classified as confidential under section 254J of the Local Government Regulation 2012 may not be available to the public.
