Immunisation is a safe and effective way of protecting against harmful disease. Logan City Council’s School Immunisation Program offers free immunisations to Year 7 and 10 students in the Logan and Redlands areas.
Logan City Council (powered by Vitavo) will email you your child’s unique booking link early in the school year. Use the unique booking link to register and give consent or decline. If you do not receive an email from Logan City Council (powered by Vitavo) with your child's unique booking link, access your school's general booking link via the school directory.

Council offers regular Community immunisation clinics at a variety of locations across Logan. School immunisations are available at all Community clinic locations. To book an appointment, please visit Community immunisation clinics.
After-hours school catch up clinics will also be available at Logan Central Library and Capalaba Library in Term 4 of the school year.
You’ll go to a page with information about your school's visit dates and immunisation information. Select whether you consent or not, remember, choosing “I consent” lets you consent to either both or only one of the vaccines. Clicking “I consent” will lead you to a page where you will be prompted to create an account and profile for your child. Clicking “I do not consent” leads you to a simple form to complete without creating an account.
Simply use your email address and password to log in and select your child who is in Year 7 or 10.
Year 10 students are offered Meningococcal ACWY vaccine and Meningococcal B vaccine. Meningococcal B vaccine requires 2 doses to be given at least 8 weeks a part. Consent is valid for both doses.
If you have given consent and would like to withdraw consent. Simply log into your Vitavo account, manage the booking and withdraw consent.
If you have previously withheld consent and would now like to give consent, use your child’s unique booking link emailed by Logan City Council at the start of the school year. Follow the steps to create an account and provide consent for your child.
If your child misses their immunisations at school, they can catch up for free at one of our community clinics or school catch-up clinics. Visit our Community immunisation clinics information for locations and to book. Children can catch up at our community clinics for free up until 19 years of age.
Alternatively, school immunisations are available at general practices and pharmacies.

Yes, it is safe for your child to perform physical activity in the afternoon after their school immunisation.
Your child can discuss this with the nurse on the day. In most circumstances, if a child is well enough to attend school they are well enough to be immunised.
You need to use each child’s unique booking link and follow the instructions.
Search your email inbox, including any spam or junk folders for an email from Logan City Council that is sent early in the school year. If you are still unable to locate the email you can find your child’s school in the A to Z listing, and use the Vitavo immunisation link.

If you have not submitted a response for your child, you will receive up to 2 SMS reminders prior to the immunisation visit.
If you have submitted consent, you will receive a confirmation booking email and reminder in the lead up to the immunisation visit. You will also receive an email confirmation when immunisations have been administered and recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register.
Your school will also promote the program through their usual communication platforms.
