New year, new opening hours for Logan Art Gallery and libraries

The opening hours for Logan Art Gallery and Logan Libraries will change slightly in 2026.

From January 6, 2026, the Gallery will be open from 10am to 4pm, instead of 5pm, to align with the Living Museum of Logan and Mayes Cottage.

The change will not affect after-school art programs or the Uplate programming introduced in 2025, which will both continue as planned throughout 2026.

From January 5, 2026, all of the city's nine libraries will close at 5.45pm on Tuesdays only. Opening hours are not affected.

Late night services remain available on Thursday nights at Beenleigh, Hyperdome, Jimboomba, Logan Central, Logan North, Logan West and Marsden libraries until 8pm.

All online library services, including catalogues, holds, eBooks, and databases are available 24/7, and returns are accepted at all times via the after-hours return system.
