Enquiring about safety camera footage
All footage captured on the Logan Safety Camera Program is generally retained for a period of thirty (30) days. Footage will not be available on request after the 30 days retention period unless someone requests the footage prior to the 30 days or if an incident has been recorded. During system upgrades, repairs and maintenance, footage may be retained for a period of less than 30 days.
In line with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) we can release safety camera footage to the police. Before we release footage we follow a strict process to make sure we maintain privacy.
Any member of the public can request Logan safety camera program safety camera footage through a Right to Information request. Please see Right to information for how to apply.
