We value the work of local services in Logan and the events they deliver to our community. Council supports these groups by reducing the financial impact of waste disposal and collection charges.
You may be eligible to apply for free bins for your community event if your organisation is operating in Logan and is one of the following:
Requests depend on the availability of Council’s waste contractor service. Once the budget has been exhausted, we will no longer be able to accept or approve further applications.
To apply for free community event bins, fill out our online form at least 14 business days before the event. We will not be able to deliver the bins if your application is not submitted within this timeframe.
If you need more bins than your event concession allows, you must submit a separate application(PDF, 657KB) and pay commercial rates (including GST).
Please send your application to us at least 14 business days before the event. This will give us enough time to arrange delivery of the bins. We may not be able to deliver the bins if your application isn't received in time.
