Do I need a licence?

The following pool operations need a licence from us:

• public swimming pools and spas
• learn to swim pools, gym and health centre pools
• hotel, motel, and motor inn pools
• club pools
• Council pools
• hydrotherapy pools
• domestic pools when used for commercial purposes
• aquatic centre pools.

The following pools do NOT need a licence from us:

• residential swimming pools
• school swimming pools
• swimming pools under a body corporate or a group subdivision scheme.
