The promoter is Logan City Council (Council) whose registered office is at 150 Wembley Road, Logan Central QLD 4114.
By entering the competition, the participant agrees that they are over the age of 13 years.
One entry per person only. No additional entries will be awarded to persons who surpass the entry criteria.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
To enter the competition, the participant must:
Become a Habitat Connections member and join the
Habitat Connections Logan
iNaturalist project; or
Become a Land for Wildlife member and join the
Land for Wildlife Members - Logan
iNaturalist project
No responsibility can be accepted for observations not received for whatever reason.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.
Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
The prize will be a
Centra 48MP HD 4K Kvenland Solar Trail Camera
and will be awarded to the first 5 Land for Wildlife members and first 5 Habitat Connections members who have:
recorded the required number of native species,
contacted Council to have their observations verified, and
been awarded the Gold
Biodiversity Badge
.
The Gold Biodiversity Badge requires the recording of 300 or more native species for Land for Wildlife members, and 150 or more native species for Habitat Connections members.
To achieve the Gold Biodiversity badge, species observations must be from the members Habitat Connections or Land for Wildlife property and must be uploaded to the relevant iNaturalist project to be counted.
The winners will be notified by direct email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 7 calendar days of notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winners and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter will notify the winners when and where the prize can be collected.
The promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw if an entrant, claiming to be a winner or qualifier, is unable to satisfy the terms or has breached the terms.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image if applicable being used in any publicity material regarding this competition.
Privacy Collection: Council is collecting your personal information for the purposes of assessing your entry to the competition. Your personal information may be accessed by employees, contractors, and/or Councillors of Logan City Council, and other Government agencies. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) and may be released to other parties where Council is required or authorised by law to do so.
