Waste management and resource recovery strategy 2022 to 2032

Our Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy 2022-2032 outlines a path for how the City of Logan community can:

  • achieve waste reduction and recycling targets set by the Queensland Government
  • save valuable resources
  • contribute to building a circular economy.

In line with the Queensland Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy 2014-2024, this strategy seeks to:

  • reduce the impact of waste on the environment and communities
  • transition to a circular economy for waste
  • build economic opportunity.

The strategy aims to help us manage our waste in a way that achieves a balance of environmental, economic and social outcomes.
