Logan City Council’s much-loved Flame BBQ & Music Festival returns to Jimboomba this September to serve up another afternoon of delicious fare and toe-tapping fun.

‘The big country day out’, on Saturday September 13, features last year’s crowd pleasers plus fresh new competitions such as the Battle of the Mullet and the Country Spouse Shout.

City of Logan Mayor Jon Raven said another record crowd was expected in 2025 after the festival attracted more than 8000 people last year.

“This year Flame is even bigger and better – promising a day of great music, brisket and barbecues,” Mayor Raven said.

“Bring the kids down for hours of free entertainment while you catch up with mates and celebrate everything country.

“TikTok sensations Sienna Mallon and Jimmy Judge are jumping on the Flame train this year on the Chomp & Comp stage.

“You can also experience the best of the region’s barbecue culture with next-level vendors and live cooking demonstrations.”

Foodies will have their tastebuds tantalised thanks to trucks serving up a variety of mouth-watering dishes to suit everyone, including options for $10 or less.

Families can enjoy unlimited rides and activities, with stacks of free entertainment on offer including line dancing 101, whip cracking workshops, two fire shows and eating challenges for kids and adults.

There will be six hours of live music from the award-winning Aussie country sensation Max Jackson and Jimboomba’s Logan Legend Jake Whittaker, who is fresh from singing up a storm on Australian Idol, and country music DJ, Dee Jaye Bux.

Adult tickets are $20, or $25 at the gate, so grab your ticket early and save. Under 18s are free.

The fully accessible event will feature an Auslan interpreter on the main stage, while travel to and from the event will be easy, thanks to a free continuous shuttle bus servicing key sites in and around Jimboomba.

Flame BBQ & Music Festival is on from 1pm to 8pm on Saturday, September 13, at Jimboomba Park (South Street, Jimboomba).

Purchase your tickets now from flamefestival.com.au – and keep an eye out for the full program and shuttle bus details.
