Community Partnership Project Fund

The Community Partnership Project Fund supports community organisations to deliver projects through funding and collaboration with us. Funding is provided on a one-off basis or through multi-year agreements (for a maximum of 2 years).

The program focuses on enabling projects that:

are co-designed and delivered in partnership with us
align with the public interest and improve quality of life for Logan residents
deliver meaningful, long-term outcomes that contribute to thriving communities in Logan, including:
- community cohesion and neighbourly spirit
- cultural collaboration and pride
- accessibility and inclusion
- intergenerational connection and care.

Who can apply

Not-for-profit organisations
Social enterprises.

Funding available

Any amount between $2,000 and $20,000 per financial year.

There are 2 streams of funding available. You can apply for one-off or multi-year funding (up to 2 years). This means that the maximum a project can receive is $40,000 across 2 financial years.

Timeframes

Applications are open once per year. Some flexibility may be possible. If required, please contact us.

Below are the expected project delivery, payment and reporting timeframes for one-off and multi-year funding (up to 2 years). This information will help you prepare your budget, project plan and understand key milestones and due dates.

One-off funding

One-off projects should be delivered within one year from the project start date (some flexibility may be considered). The earliest you can start your project is the day after grant outcomes are announced.

Multi-year funding (up to 2 years)

Multi-year projects should be delivered within 2 years from the project start date (some flexibility may be considered). The earliest you can start your project is the day after grant outcomes are announced.

First-year payment	This will be paid once you have signed the funding agreement and met any additional funding conditions.
Second-year payment	This will be released in July 2027 once your assigned Community Development contact has checked in to confirm your project is on track.
Progress report You will need to acquit your: project expenses: provide proof of expenditure (budget breakdown, receipts) for activities delivered between your project start date to 30 June 2027 outcomes: provide a summary of the project’s results and outcomes so far, along with evidence (photos, testimonials)	31 August 2027
End-of-project report You will need to acquit your: project expenses: provide proof of expenditure (budget breakdown, receipts) for activities delivered between 1 July 2027 to the end of the project outcomes: provide a summary of the overall results and outcomes achieved across the entire project, along with evidence (photos, testimonials)	Within 8 weeks after the project is completed.

Before applying, read over the Community Partnership Project Fund Guidelines(PDF, 1MB) and then reach out to talk with our Community Development team. This is required as you’ll be asked to include who you have spoken with on your application form. The team can:
- discuss your project idea and our level of partnership
- confirm that you’re eligible
- step you through the application process.
