Road repair to begin this month

Works to rebuild a damaged section of Steele Road in Logan Village will begin this month.

The project will involve the excavation and reconstruction of approximately 180 metres of weather-damaged road.

Part of Steele Road will be closed to allow repair works to be done safely.

The project has been funded through the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).

Signed detours will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone.

Construction is expected to continue until late September 2026.
