Works are underway on a major upgrade of the Homestead Drive, Teviot Road and Glynton Road intersection where Flagstone, Riverbend and South Maclean meet.
The project will realign the intersection and include the installation of new traffic lights, turning and slip lanes, median strips and improved road drainage.
A large eucalypt tree that had to be removed during preliminary works has been repurposed as wildlife habitat at one of Council’s environmental offset locations.
The upgrade will connect the intersection to the new Teviot Road extension on the southern side and help cater for growth in the Queensland Government’s Greater Flagstone Priority Development Area.
