Intersection upgrade improves safety at Logan Reserve
Families, students and motorists are already benefiting from a major upgrade to the intersection of Logan Reserve Road and School Road in Logan Reserve.
Located next to Logan Reserve State School, the upgraded intersection is improving traffic flow and making it safer for students and families during busy school drop-off and pick-up periods.
The Logan City Council project was funded by the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program.
New traffic lights and four new signalised pedestrian crossings were installed as part of the project, along with extended turning lanes on Logan Reserve Rd, road resurfacing and new line marking.

New location for immunisation clinic
Flagstone’s immunisation clinic is moving to a new location in September.
The Logan City Council clinic is relocating to the Flagstone Parklands Community Hub at 51 Parklands Drive from Monday, September 7.
Clinic operating days and hours will remain unchanged.

Kerbside treasures part of Logan’s story
A new exhibition at the Living Museum of Logan is uncovering the hidden stories behind everyday household items.
From Friday, August 14, Kerbside Nation, curated by artist Vanghoua Anthony Vue and museum curator Alice Hinton, will explore Logan’s kerbside clean-ups and the objects people choose to keep.
The exhibition follows four Logan residents and their treasured itemsand reveals how objects can reflect identity, memory, migration, family history and a sense of home.
Kerbside Nation is the first chapter of The Great Kerbside Nation Building Project, a broader body of work by Mr Vue that will continue across the City of Logan.
Supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and the Regional Arts Development Fund, the project highlights the stories and cultures that shape local communities.
The Living Museum of Logan is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm at the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct.

Pet owners reminded to renew registrations
Pet owners in the City of Logan are reminded that pet registrations are now due, with renewal notices arriving by email or post this week.
To make registration simpler and more affordable, Logan City Council now offers a discounted three-year registration option alongside the existing one-year option.
Pet registrations are valid from September to August.
Registering pets helps reunite lost animals with their owners and supports Council's Animal Management team to respond to animal concerns across the city.

Queensland residents rate Logan among the state's best councils
Logan City Council has been ranked Queensland's highest performing council in the Snap Send Solve Community Satisfaction Index.
The ranking is based on customer satisfaction with service delivery, responsiveness and communication.
Residents gave Council a score of 62.9%, reflecting Council’s ongoing commitment to meeting the needs and expectations of Logan residents.
The Snap Send Solve app allows residents to quickly report local issues such as potholes, dumped rubbish, graffiti and vandalism, helping requests reach the right organisation faster.
