Council calls out for recycled stories

The Living Museum of Logan is looking for people to be part of a new exhibition beginning later this year.

Artist Vanghoua Anthony Vue wants people to share their story for The Great Kerbside Nation-Building Project.

The project focuses on what people choose to keep and what they leave at the kerbside.

An honorary payment will be paid to successful applicants for their contribution.

Expressions of Interest for the project will close on April 18.

For more information, visit Living Museum of Logan.

Hop to it and recycle right this Easter

The Easter Bunny is on his way to local households, with plenty of sweet treats in tow.

Residents are being reminded to recycle right when it comes to Easter packaging.

Valuable materials like aluminium foil and cardboard don’t belong in landfill and should be placed in the yellow‑lid recycling bin.

Soft, scrunchable plastics aren’t recyclable and should still go in the red‑lid bin.

More information on recycling is available by visiting Let’s Get It Sorted.

More time to Have Your Say on Flood Portal

There is still time to Have Your Say on proposed changes to Council’s Logan Flood Portal.

Council is proposing changes to how flood risk information is displayed on the Flood Portal landing page, and in the Property Flood Report.

The proposed changes have been made in line with feedback already received from the community.

They are designed to help property owners and potential buyers find relevant information quickly.

The survey is now open until April 30.

To participate, visit Logan Flood Portal.
