Browns Plains skatepark has become the new favourite attraction to our 7 kids who have found a new fond love for scootering, we love Browns Plains skate park however we wish to get some much needed attention due to old and dirty facilities including toilets (broken lock at the moment) and bubblers (old and need upgrading)!
This skate park is a very popular place, we think it would benefit from shades, tables, and BBQs on grass area for more families to enjoy would be amazing, it would also benefit from new lighting which is vital for visibility for the safety of all riders in darker conditions, new bubblers, toilets to be maintained! Broken lock needs to be replaced.
Action required in response to this issue:
Yes Browns Plains skate park has a bad reputation for vandalism and bad behaviour but if we can be an example as parents and giving them a place where they can come relax be safe and enjoy riding with awesome updated amenities and essentials like fresh cold water on a hot Brisbane day to enjoy their favourite local skate park then let’s help them get them a place we can all enjoy.
