Change the new flood mapping

I am petitioning to have the Logan City Council correct the new flood mapping.

Action required in response to this issue:

The mapping is not accurate for the flood levels that happened in the 2022 rain event. It's showing a mapping of something no one could ever predict could happen. I want this placed on public record.

Outcome

That the ePetition titled, “Change the New Flood Mapping”, as presented by Councillor Russell at the Ordinary Council meeting held on 25 January 2023, be tabled to the meeting.
That the ePetition in relation to the request “Change the New Flood Mapping” as tabled to the meeting in Clause 1, be received and referred to the Director Transport and Water Services for consideration and preparation of a report to a future City Infrastructure Committee meeting.

Following the above, a report was presented to the City Infrastructure Committee Meeting held on 11 June 2024 and the following motion was adopted:

That the report titled Response to ePetition about Flood Awareness Mapping, be noted.
