Traffic islands - Local traffic only on Carter Road

There are too people using our local road as a thorough fare as well as speeding continuously. There was an accident on Carter Road, on the 28th August. Burn outs all along the service road in front of the cement factory. There are children who use the road to get home from the bus stop before and after school. The road noise and traffic is horrendous.

Action required in response to this issue:

There needs to be traffic islands, or speed bumps at all intersections on Carter Road, Munruben to try and curb the speeding and people from outside the area using this road as a thoroughfare. This is a 60km/h road and people are flying through here faster than people on the highway, people seem to think this is a major road.
