To apply to film in a Council park, apply online.

Filming in public place

To apply for a licence to film on Council land, download and fill in the Application for a permit - Film production on a public place(PDF, 807KB) and return to us.

Your application should include:

  • a production schedule of filming dates and times
  • a site plan of filming areas, including equipment, props and structures
  • information about the numbers of cast, crew and vehicles involved
  • a copy of your Public Liability insurance to a minimum value of $20 million, where Logan City Council must be identified as an interested party
  • any other permits required from Council
  • any additional information.

To allow us to properly assess your application, please submit it at least 10 working days before filming starts. You will not be able to start filming until you have received an approval.

Depending on the filming activity, we may ask you to pay a security deposit.
