Neighbours Every Day

Neighbours Every Day is a year-round campaign - with Neighbour Day as the annual day of action.
Neighbours Every Day, led by Relationships Australia, is the evolution of Neighbour Day into a year-round campaign, with Neighbour Day celebrated on the last Sunday of March each year. It’s about small, meaningful connections that help people feel welcome, supported and included.
A hello, a chat or a simple check-in can make a real difference — any day of the year.
Why Neighbour Day matters in Logan
Logan is home to people from many cultures, backgrounds and life experiences. Neighbour Day is a simple way to celebrate this diversity and remind us that connection starts close to home.
When neighbours know each other, communities feel safer, stronger and more welcoming. A friendly chat, a shared activity or a simple checkin can make a real difference to someone’s sense of belonging.
Ways to connect - neighbours every day
There’s no right or wrong way to celebrate Neighbour Day. Big or small, every action helps build connection.
You might choose to:
- host a community event that’s open to everyone
- organise a small get-together with neighbours in your street or local park
- check in on someone nearby
- finally introduce yourself to a neighbour you’ve been meaning to meet.
