Underdog Film Fest (UDFF) presents two capacity-building workshops for Logan-based filmmakers looking to deepen their filmmaking skills.
3D interactive mural project and future activation engagement:
Visually striking portable 3D mural, designed by Stacey Bennett and Lautaro Musse, will be painted live and on display at Jimboomba Central, offering a dynamic, interactive experience for audiences. They will run activities to scope future art activations in Logan.
Who is AI?:
An abstract digital story, visually projected on to a building narrating the phenomena and new human evolution called Ai, told thru the eyes of a creative artist, a Chat Bot and Generative Ai.
Hairy Soul Man - Love Meteor:
The interstellar pansexual humanoid Hairy Soul Man brings his musical comedy series Love Meteor to planet Earth, sharing ways to better humanity and looking fantastic while doing so.
Asian Folksongs Music Score Project:
Workshops, Performance and Music Score Launch at the Kingston Butter Factory on Saturday 21 February 2026.
Linger Exhibition:
Supporting the creation of new artworks for my upcoming exhibition "Linger" at the Logan Art Gallery. The exhibition will be shown between 31 January to 28 February 2026 in the Young Peoples Gallery.
'It's a Small World' art exhibition:
Young Logan artist will research and create mixed media artworks that depict iconic national images of the many different cultures living in Logan. The artworks will be exhibited at Logan Art Galley from 22 July to 22 August 2026.
The Protocol:
Create a short film serves as a proof-of-concept for a feature film version set in Logan, which will explore themes of identity, oppression, and resilience in a local context.
'One Morning...' Children's Book Artwork and mentoring:
To develop my Visual Art Practice and skills by completing children’s book artwork and receive mentoring for the process. To explore the costs, possibility and requirements of publishing with Logan firm Inhouse Publishing, as a potential future arts career pathway.
Artist Amplify - A podcast and media project:
Creation of 10-episode podcast with local artists, and support the creation of media kits, templates and training to give these artists a way to be seen and celebrated - while also learning how to make the most of that exposure.
Jewellers & Metalsmiths Group of Australia National Conference, exhibitions and workshops - Skills Development
This opportunity expands Robyn’s knowledge and understanding of the Jewellers and Metalsmiths in Australia and overseas and to gain information and network building within the industry. Robyn will have exposure to artists from across Australia, the USA, Thailand and Japan, including visual presentations and a physical 3-day workshop.
This opportunity would allow Anna to gain significant insight from attending talks and presentations delivered by those more experienced than her working in the field. She also stands to gain and develop important practical and hands-on skills by attending Julia Heineccius' workshop.
Fun in the Sun with Alvin Rostant:
Fun in the Sun with Alvin Rostant is a multimedia edutainment showcasing original music via an iMag video (created by Jimmy Watts) dance and costume to be held at KBF, in May 2025 targeting local audiences and key industry persons.
Little Ghosts of Christmases Bygone:
This project will be a 2025 December exhibition at the Logan Art Gallery in Gallery 1 focusing on Christmas beetles and their population decline. The body of work will consist of paintings, ceramic sculptures and mosaics.
Kylie Chan - QWC Mentorship:
Industry mentorship via Queensland Writers Centre to produce publishing package for the Fae DNA trilogy.
Mallory The Musical - A Journey from Terror to Joy:
Creative development period in March 2024 of new music-theatre work by Catherine Mundy OAM with collaborators Jay Turner OAM and Dr Julie Robson. Mallory The Musical maps a journey from terror to joy when presented with a life-threatening diagnosis.
Art marketing and business mentoring:
Logan local Ali Strachan will be mentoring artist Olivia Gyene to help take the next step in her business, and further her knowledge in marketing strategies, brand messaging, and reaching her audience to grow her art career.
The Academy of Country Music - Instrumentalist Course:
Attendance at the 2025 Senior Academy of Country Music in Tamworth, where Ashlyn will be mentored by industry professionals, enhancing her skills as a bass player, songwriter, and businesswoman.

Lark Lee will develop and write the entire web series (Wannabe) scripts, a pitch bible and other materials to be submission-ready for Screen Australia Production Fund.
Launching the Inaugural Season:
Featuring emerging professional-level orchestral musicians from Logan City and surrounding areas. This project culminates with a concert at the Kingston Butter Factory.
Proof of Concept (Working It Out):
To produce a proof of concept that can further again investment, which will bring more potential jobs to Logan film creatives.
Ali'i Luau:
To purchase traditional Pacific Island instruments and hire cultural experts to teach authentic dances and activities. The goal is to preserve and share Pacific heritage, promoting cultural education and community engagement through hands-on, interactive demonstrations.
Riverscope:
This community-engaged contemporary art project connects people to place through their senses, focusing on the Logan River and the natural pigments it provides. Riverscope will be exhibited from mid-August to September 2025 at the Logan Art Gallery.
