Construction is expected to start in September and take 8 months to complete, weather and construction conditions permitting. 

There will be some tree removal required to allow for shared paths.

Overview

We will soon start works to upgrade sections of High Road, Easterly Street and Old Logan Village Road adjacent to Canterbury College, to improve drainage and parking around the school, while creating safer active travel opportunities.

The project is jointly funded with the Queensland Government South East Queensland Community Stimulus Program.

Timeline

We have appointed Doval to complete these works. Construction will take place from September to April 2027, weather and construction condition permitting.

Features

The project will deliver:

  • road resurfacing works and minor road widening
  • formal on-road car parking
  • new kerb and channel
  • new footpaths and shared paths
  • alterations to line marking and signage
  • relocating some existing services
  • new street lighting
  • tree or vegetation trimming and/or removal to allow for the shared path
  • reinstatement of gardens and landscaping upon completion.
