Pets available for adoption

Our pets are ready to be adopted and can’t be placed on hold. All animals are health-checked, microchipped and desexed. Free registration is included until 30 August.

If you see a pet you’d like to adopt, visit us at 213 Queens Road, Kingston.

Before adopting

Check how many animals you can keep based on the size of your property. You can use the PDHub to find your property size.

What to bring

Please bring:

  • photo identification
  • if you’re renting, permission from your landlord or real estate agent to keep a pet
  • in other dogs you own to the Animal Management Centre to meet the new dog and make sure they get along
  • along family members who will live with the new pet to make sure the pet is suitable.

We may inspect your property to make sure the animal's enclosure is suitable.
