Cat breeding

Deciding to breed is a big decision. You must meet strict criteria under Local Laws and State Legislation.

To breed cats in the City of Logan, you must hold a Breeding Approval (conditions apply).

Breeders must have a current membership with a recognised association, like:

  • Queensland Feline Association
  • Independent Cat Council of Queensland
  • Feline Control Council of Australia

All cats living in Logan need to be desexed and microchipped.
