We understand that our ratepayers may experience financial challenges from time to time and once you fall behind in rates payment it can be difficult to catch back up. How we can help and what you should do will depend on your circumstances.
If you can make the full payment before the end of the billing period, you do not need to contact Council or complete a payment plan request form. The end of the billing period for each rates notice is shown below:

If you have multiple rate notices outstanding for your property it is best to enter into a payment plan in order to pay down the outstanding charges to avoid falling further behind. If you would like to request a payment plan please fill out our request form at Rates payment plan request form.
Under our current financial hardship policy, those who do enter and maintain an agreeable payment plan can be considered for an interest free arrangement. You can download our Financial Hardship Policy(PDF, 954KB), customers who enter into and maintain an agreed payment plan may be eligible for an interest‑free arrangement.
