Ratepayers with a residential bin service receive 4 waste vouchers each year. You can use the vouchers to dispose of general, construction and demolition waste for free.
Waste vouchers are sent each year in your July rate notice. If you receive your rate notice in the mail, you will receive your waste vouchers in the mail with your rate notice. If you receive your rate notice by email or BPAY View, from 21 July 2025 you will receive digital waste vouchers from our new online Digital Waste Voucher platform.
We encourage landlords to give waste vouchers to their tenants if they are not using them for that property.

To access your digital waste vouchers, you will need:
- a current Logan City Council rate notice and rate assessment number
- a computer or mobile device (iOS or Android) with internet access
- an email address.
Where do I find my rate assessment number?
The rate assessment number is the 8-digit number located in the top right-hand corner of the first page of your rate notice. When you register, please enter the rate assessment number with no spaces, e.g. 12345678.
I own a rental property. Can I give my vouchers to my tenants?
Yes. Once you have created an account, logged in and verified your waste voucher eligibility, there is an option to print your waste vouchers, or save them to your mobile device. Once printed or saved to your device, you can send the waste vouchers to your tenants. We will not mail or email waste vouchers to your tenants on your behalf.
