Construction on this project has begun and will take approximately 3 months to complete, weather and conditions permitting.

Project overview

We are planning an upgrade to the intersection at Johnston Road and Forestdale Drive in Forestdale, with support from the Australian Government's Black Spot Program.

We are committed to improving road safety across Logan. The upgrade will help deliver a safer intersection by reducing the risk of potential crashes, by controlling the right turn from Johnson Road into Forestdale Drive.

The Black Spot Program was introduced as part of the Australian Government's commitment to reduce the risk of crashes. The program targets locations where crashes have occurred or are at risk of happening.
