Millstream Road (Kurrajong Road to Barnes Road) Upgrade

Latest update

Construction on the project will happen in October 2026.

The design scope has changed to include line marking upgrades to the Kurrajong Road intersection on Millstream Road.

Overview

We are upgrading sections of Millstream Road between Kurrajong Road and Barnes Road, Jimboomba and Cedar Vale, with support from the Australian Government Black Spot Program.

The Black Spot Program was introduced as part of the Australian Government's commitment to reduce the risk of crashes. The program targets locations where crashes have occurred or are at risk of happening.

Crash data gathered between 2016 to 2020, confirmed 9 crashes were reported on this section of road resulting in minor injury, medical treatment, or hospitalisation.

We are committed to improving road safety across Logan. This upgrade will help deliver a safer road by reducing the risk of potential future crashes.
