River Street and Logan Street upgrade
Latest update
Design due to be finished in late 2024.
Project overview
We are designing improvements to River Street and Logan Street in Logan Village.
This means designing changes that enhance our urban spaces and inspire walking, playing and meeting. Traffic is slowed and shared areas encouraged. Wide off-road paths will make it easier, safer, and more desirable to walk, ride, scooter and skate. Better drainage means water flows away from the street in heavy rain.
This aligns with our placemaking efforts in Logan Village, with streetscape upgrades a key priority in the Logan Village Implementation Plan. Similar upgrades have been recently completed at nearby Storey Road and Manuka Road Upgrade.
The project is being delivered under Council's Local Roads, Kerbing and Stormwater Program.
