Leap, launch and let loose each school holidays with KRANK!

KRANK is Logan City Council's school holiday program for children and young people aged 5 to 17 who live in Logan.

It offers free and low-cost activities across Logan, helping young people get creative, stay active, try new things, learn new skills and connect with others.

Activities change each school holiday period and may include creative workshops, outdoor adventures, sport, science and technology, performance and more.

There's always something new to try!

Getting started with KRANK

Booking into KRANK activities is now simpler than ever with our online booking platform. Families can browse activities before each school holiday period and register online once bookings open.

Tip: Set up your account early so you're ready when bookings open. Popular activities can fill quickly.

Activities may include

  • Creative arts and crafts - pottery, clay hand building, sculpture, painting, jewellery making, candle making, glass fusing, macrame and photography.
  • Sports and active recreation - basketball, football, tennis, gymnastics, martial arts, self-defence, BMX, scooter and skateboarding programs.
  • Outdoor and water adventures - fishing, kayaking, aquatic playgrounds, kneeboarding, wakeboarding, rock climbing, camping skills, and navigation challenges.
  • Science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) - LEGO STEM challenges, Minecraft Education, animation and engineering projects.
  • Nature and environmental activities - beekeeping, wildlife encounters, gardening, composting, nature drawing and journalling, and outdoor art.
  • Music, dance and performance - hip hop, breakdancing, cultural dance, drumming, choir, theatre, beatboxing and DJ workshops.
  • Games and challenges - laser tag, go-karts, dodgebow, dodgeball, obstacle challenges and foam parties.
  • Life skills and wellbeing - first aid, emergency awareness, bush survival, sewing, yoga, sensory and wellbeing activities.
  • Cooking and hospitality - camp cooking, barista training, high tea activities and butter making.
  • Cultural and community activities – cultural workshops and dance, storytelling, basket weaving, henna art and community projects.

Who can take part in KRANK?

KRANK activities are for children and young people aged 5 to 17 who live in Logan.

How much do activities cost?

KRANK activities are free or low cost. Any fee will be shown in the activity listing. If there is a fee, payment is made directly to the activity provider.

How do I create an account and book an activity?

We've created a series of short videos to guide you through:

  • creating an account and adding a profile for each child or young person
  • finding and booking a KRANK activity
  • cancelling a booking if your plans change, so another young person can take part 

What should I bring to an activity?

What you need to bring will depend on the activity. Check the activity listing before you attend. It will tell you if you need items such as a water bottle, enclosed shoes, food, a hat, sunscreen, swimwear, or a towel.

What if I can't attend an activity I have booked?

Please cancel your booking as soon as possible so that another young person can take part. The booking help videos show you how to cancel.
