KRANK school holiday program

KRANK offers free and low-cost school holiday activities for Logan residents aged 5 to 17 years.

Activities

KRANK will be returning to its usual format for the September / October 2020 school holidays with enhanced safety and social distancing measures in line with Queensland Government regulations. As the situation with COVID-19 is evolving, we will continue to closely monitor the public health advice for the delivery of the KRANK program.

The school holiday program will run from Saturday 19 September to Sunday 4 October 2020. Bookings will open at 9.00am Monday 7 September 2020.

A limited number of printed KRANK activity booklets are available from libraries and customer services centres. For an electronic copy of the booklet, please email krank@logan.qld.gov.au.

To access a range of free or low-cost online sessions for you and the family, please see Active and healthy at home.

Grandparents Day Cards – 25 October

To celebrate Grandparents Day, we have created two colouring in cards for Logan residents.

Our ‘Happy Grandparents Day’ card is a great way to show your grandparents and those who play a special role in the community that we care about them.

The ‘Just Wanted to Say Hello’ card focuses on supporting and reaching seniors in our aged care homes who may be feeling lonely and isolated due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) restrictions.

If you would like a copy of the cards you can:

  • email your request to communityservices@logan.qld.gov.au. Please include your name, postal address and  ‘Grandparents day cards’ in the subject line and we can post you the cards.
  • collect the cards from:
    • our Administration Building at 150 Wembley Road, Logan Central QLD 4114, or
    • the Logan Central Library at 26 Wilbur Street, Logan Central QLD 4114.

A simple gesture of kindness can make a senior’s day!
