Please check with your body corporate or property manager if you are in a unit complex, to make sure there is enough storage and presentation room for the extra bin.
If one waste and one recycling bin is not enough, you can order extra bins. You can choose from the following bin sizes:
General waste (red or dark green lid)
- 140 litre - $283 per year
- 240 litre - $318 per year (standard size)
Recycling (yellow lid)
- 140 litre - $166 per year
- 240 litre - $166 per year (standard size)
- 360 litre - $166 per year
Conditions of Service
Additional bins
By submitting this request for an additional bin, you acknowledge the following:
- Once council is satisfied that the bins have been delivered to the property charges will be added on the rates account for the property.
- Charges will cease upon the service being cancelled by the property owner and Council has collected the bins.
- Council will charge your rate account for the service irrespective of whether you place your bin out for collection or not. Refunds for periodic non-use of the service are not permitted.
- Should collection be missed due to operational issues, refunds will not be provided, however Council will make best endeavours to offer a catch-up service upon request.
- By agreeing to these conditions of service, you agree to only use the bin for its intended purpose as advertised by Logan City Council. Failure to do this could result in the removal of the bin without refund.
Customer declaration
I hereby apply for the additional waste service and declare that I agree to the conditions of service and the particulars contained in my application are correct in every detail. If I submit this application electronically to Logan City Council, I agree it has the same status as if it were signed.

- 1,500 litre - $1,601 per year
- 2,000 litre - $2,356 per year

- 660 litre - $1,100 per year
- 1,100 litre - $1,345 per year
- 1,500 litre - $1,550 per year
- 2,000 litre - $2,300 per year
- 3,000 litre - $2,780 per year
- 4,500 litre - $3,475 per year
To order extra bins for a dual occupancy property (e.g. auxiliary units or duplexes), please apply for a new bin service.
