Open to residents and businesses, the market offers a wide range of recycled, recovered and reusable items available for purchase.   

Donate your suitable pre-loved goods for free at any of Council’s Waste and Recycling Facilities. For larger business donations, please phone us first. 

By donating and shopping at the Logan Recycling Market, you’re helping reduce landfill, supporting reuse and giving back locally. 

A share of proceeds from the Logan Recycling Market supports local community programs through the City of Logan Charitable Trust. This means that every sale helps to make a difference to our Logan community.

Open 10:00am to 3:00pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Closed on public holidays.

Items for sale

The recycling market’s stock changes almost every day, so we can't tell you what things will be available, when we’ll have them, or what the prices will be. Please visit to see what we have for sale.

Items for sale include:

• bric-a-brac
• hardware materials
• toys
• household furniture
• appliances
• bicycles
• building materials.

A share of profits from the recycling market goes to local charities through the City of Logan Mayor’s Charity Trust. This means that every sale helps to make a difference to people in Logan City.

Purchase limit

We aim to benefit as many people as possible. To make sure all customers have fair access to items, there may be a purchasing limit applied to some items. Please ask one of our friendly staff on the day.

Donate reusable items

Residents and businesses are encouraged to donate quality reusable items that can be resold and enjoyed by others in the community. 

Drop off your suitable pre-loved items for free at any of our Waste and Recycling Facilities. For larger volume donations, please contact us prior to delivery on phone 07 3412 3412.

Items we cannot accept 

Some items are not suitable for resale, such as those that are broken, unsafe, damaged, hazardous, contaminated or subject to legal restriction (example - child safety seats etc).  

All donations will be assessed by our waste facility staff, who will make a decision on whether an item can be accepted for resale. 

If items are deemed unsuitable for resale, disposal charges may apply. Please see Fee schedule for waste for more information.
