The Great Cane Toad Bust

The Great Cane Toad Bust is back and we’re calling on you to take part in a toad-ally awesome challenge from the 17-25 January!

Whether you trap tadpoles by day or bust toads by night, you can help make a difference to the environment in your local area and have a chance to win prizes.

Compete as a family, team up with friends or neighbours, or rally your community group to claim the title of Toad Busting Champion!

Wondering how you can take part? Here are the steps for you to participate.

1. Register your interest on The Great Cane Toad Bust website.
2. Head outdoors to collect toads or tadpoles in your local area.
3. Count your bust and submit your catches on the Watergum Cane Toad Database.
4. Humanely euthanise any toads you remove and responsibly dispose of them.
